For the business
Questions people actually ask
Which entities are eligible?
A private limited company, LLP or registered partnership incorporated within the last ten years with annual turnover not exceeding ₹100 crore in any year, working towards innovation or improvement of products, processes or services.
Does recognition itself give a tax holiday?
No. DPIIT recognition is the gateway; the three-year tax holiday under section 80-IAC is a separate application to the Inter-Ministerial Board, and approval is not automatic.
